San Diego Surfing

I love to surf in San Diego, and that's what this site is all about, more or less.  I usually surf in Trestles or Oceanside, when I'm not in my pool, of which I consider to be the best surfing spots by far. There's also Cardiff (too many reefs for my taste); Swami's (it's a bit too crowded); Windansea is great for a small time of the year.

So, what do I love about surfing?  Its the thing you cannot put your finger on: When you catch that wave that feels fifty feet high; it's like you're on top of the world.  You feel like you've conquered the ocean; you've slayed the beach dragon.  It's exciting.

My dream is to be as good as Bethany Hamilton.

My Idol!

Sometimes it's fun not to surf

When I'm not surfing, it's a lot of fun just to sit back and watch the waves and others surf.  I learned a lot from seeing other people surf, even though I learned quite a bit more by just doing it myself.

Blogs I Recommend

I recommend this Window Cleaning Blog that will teach you how to clean effectively a house or business. This has totally helped me with my side business, and I think most people will find value with these tips.

Best Place to Surf

In my opinion, I think the best place to surf in the United States is Oceanside, but that's really my emotions talking, rather than the waves.  I grew up next to this area and I love it.  I have many fond memories with family and friends swimming,...and surfing, of course.

Beach Bum

Yep, I'm in the shores sitting with my friends, taking pictures from Aperture First writing on my joke of an Iphone.  The beach looks glorious today.  I wish my family were here right now.  Sort of bittersweet.
